    Central Coast Council’s Swim School offers 3 convenient locations and lessons held year-round with a short 2 week break over Christmas

    Our Swim school offers a comprehensive skill based Learn to Swim Program, catering to all ages and levels of ability.  We offer small group classes which makes our swimming lessons fun, safe and effective

    From babies 6 months of age to every aged swimmer, we focus on a positive, nurturing, individualised teaching approach that gets results.  We also offer swim lessons for adults of any age or ability.

    Our centre follows a best practice qualification policy with fully trained and qualified instructors to help our swimmers become competent and develop life-long water safety and survival skills.

    Replacement Lesson

    Our program offers a generous replacement lesson policy for missed lessons, with no limit to how many you can have and no expiry date.  *Conditions apply.

    Our mainstream program is skill based (children 3+).  Please book an assessment through the Enrol Now link. Our assessment process will ensure new students are enrolled in a class appropriate to their skill level.

    • •    Enrol in Swim School - Book a swim school assessment or enrol in Aqua Play, Adult Learn to Swim or School holiday clinics.  
      •    Swim School Members – follow you or your child’s progress in Swim School and change the day or time of your course (depending on availability)
      •    Update your details – including bank details for direct debit payments, switch to credit card payment or pay any unsuccessful direct debit payments.

    Program Levels and Progression
    • Teacher Qualification

      Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) qualification dependant on age and ability. Current CPR Certificate.

      Program Content

      Formal stroke techniques and essential water safety skills are taught. Participants are continually assessed to ensure a smooth progression through our Learn To Swim levels.

      Class Size

      Five per class.

      $74.00 per 4 week cycle on Direct Debit*.

      Program Content

      Survival skills are slowly introduced to ensure your child has a fun and stimulating water experience. The use of song helps teach babies essential skills such as floating, turning back to touch grab the edge, 'falling in'', kicking and breath control.

      Class Size

      10 per class. Parent / carer in the water.

      Class Duration

      30 minutes.

      $62.00 per 4 week cycle on Direct Debit*.
